Introduction to Experimental Center of Energy and Power Engineering
能源与动力工程实验中心由原来相关专业实验室整合,成立于2000年6月,并择机扩建,于2013年获批为省级实验教学示范中心。中心秉承“诚毅”校训,坚持以完善专业课程的教学环节为前提,以增强专业知识、训练专业技能为基础,以培养专业研究能力和创新意识为关键,以锤炼爱岗敬业精神为保障,明确实验教学目的,创新实验教学内容,改进实验教学方法,落实安全生产责任制,促成担当新时代专门人才。现在,仪器设备适宜、配套设施齐全、运作管理科学,基本满足教学要求;即是专业实践教学场所,也是学院大创的主要基地。
The Experimental Center of Energy and Power Engineering (named as “The Center" for short) was established in June 2000 by integrating the original relevant laboratories. It was then approved as the provincial demonstration center for experimental teaching in2013. Adhering to the motto of ‘Honesty & Determination’, the center aims at improving the teaching of professional courses as the premise, enhancing professional knowledge and training professional skills as the base, cultivating professional research ability and innovation consciousness, and tempering the spirit of love and professionalism. By clearly defining the purpose and contents of experimental teaching, the center promotes its role in culturing professionals in the new area by improving teaching and implementing the safety production responsibility system. The center currently equipped with suitable instruments and equipment, enough supporting facilities and scientific operation management, which basically meets the teaching requirements. It is not only a professional practical teaching site, but also serves as the main base for innovation and entrepreneurship competition of college students.
中心现有面积2200m2,拥有各类实验、实践教学仪器设备593台/套,固定资产总值2189万元,包括单价为20万元以上的精密仪器设备、创新实验平台40余台/套,设有发动机性能测试室、制冷空调实验室、热工流体实验室、流体动力学实验室、可再生能源利用实验室、生物质能源转化实验室、储能技术实验室、海洋工程热安全实验室等。中心面向能源与动力工程、建筑环境与设备工程和车辆工程这三个专业,承担17门专业课程、29个实验项目(含拆装实习)的实践教学工作,同时指导本科生、研究生开展学位论文实验,年完成教学工作量为23800人·学时,其中拆装实习工作量为17000人·学时。
With an area of 2200m2, the center owns 593 sets of various experimental and practical teaching equipment with fixed assets’ total value of 21.89 millionRMB, including more than 40 sets of precision instruments and innovative experimental platforms worth more than 200,000 RMB/unit. The center is equipped with various labs including Engine Performance Test Lab, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Lab, Thermal Fluid Lab, Fluid Dynamics Lab, Renewable Energy Utilization Lab, Biomass Energy Conversion Lab, Energy Storage Technology Lab, Thermal Safety Lab of Marine Engineering and so on. Facing the three majors (Energy and Power Engineering, Building Environment and Equipment Engineering, Vehicle Engineering), the center undertakes the practical teaching duty of 17 professional courses and 29 experimental projects (including disassembly and assembly practice). At the same time, it provides technical supports for undergraduate and graduate students to carry out dissertation experiments. The annual teaching workload is 23,800 (people · class hours), including 17,000 (people · class hours) of disassembly and assembly practice.
中心师资队伍采用“专职为主、专兼结合”的建设方式:现有专职人员5名,其中专任教师1名(中心主任),专职实验技术人员4名;专职人员职称结构中,教授1名、高级实验师1名、实验师2名;学历结构中,博士1名、硕士2名。教研指导人员27名,学历结构中,博士19名、硕士3名;职称结构中,教授7名,副教授9名。中心形成了一支结构合理、工程实践经验丰富、创新服务精神饱满的师资队伍,为应用型创新人才的培养提供了强有力的保障。
The teaching staff organization of the center follows the construction mode of "full-time focus and combination of full-time and part-time". There are 5 full-time staff, including 1 full-time teacher (director of the center) and 4 full-time experimental technicians. In terms of professional title structure of full-time personnel, there are 1 professor, 1 senior experimental technician and 2 technicians. In terms of academic structure, there are 1 doctor and 2 masters. There are 27 teaching and research instructors, including 19 doctors and 3 masters. In terms of title structure, there are 7 professors and 9 associate professors. The center has formed a teaching staff group with reasonable structure, rich engineering practical experience and full spirit of innovative service, which provides a strong guarantee for the cultivation of applied innovative talents.
中心依托“福建省能源清洁利用与开发重点实验室”、“福建省清洁燃烧与能源高效利用工程技术研究中心”等省部级科研平台,紧密结合科学研究、科技服务和技术应用,形成产学研促进实验教学的良性互动机制,促进科研资源向实验教学资源转化,构建大学生科技创新实验教学平台、提高大学生科技创新意识与工程实践能力。
Relying onseveral provincial and ministerial scientific research platforms, including "Fujian Key Laboratory for Clean Energy Utilization and Development" and "Fujian Clean Combustion and Energy Efficient Utilization Engineering Research Center", the center closely combines scientific research, scientific and technological servicesand technology application together to form a positive interaction mechanism of Industry-Academia-Research to promote experimental teaching and transform scientific research into experimental teaching. The center forms an experimental teaching platform of scientific and technological innovation for college students and improves their scientific and technological innovation consciousness and engineering practical ability.
近年来,中心承担国家自然科学基金项目、国家重点研发计划专项子课题、福建省科技重点研发项目等省部级及以上课题31项,发表国内外学术期刊论文近200篇,其中被SCI/EI收录论文82篇;获授权国家发明专利65项,出版学术著作6部;主持及参与制订国家标准2项;为20多家企业提供了技术开发、技术测试、技术培训和技术咨询服务;开发的技术成果获省部级科技奖励4项。中心肩负国家、省部、校级大学生创新实验项目30余项,在全国大学生节能减排社会实践与科技竞赛、中国制冷空调行业大学生科技竞赛中荣获国家级二等奖3项、三等奖8项。
In recent years, the center has undertaken 31 provincial and ministerial level projects and above such as National Natural Science Foundation Projects, Sub-projects of National Key Research and Development (R&D) Program, Key R&D projects of Fujian Province. There are nearly 200 papers published in academic journals in domestic and abroad, including 82 papers indexed by SCI/EI. The center has been granted 65 national invention patents, published 6 academic monographs, participated in editing 2 national standards. It has provided services for technical development, testing, training and consulting to more than 20 enterprises. The developed technical achievements won 4 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. The center has undertaken more than 30 national, provincial and university level innovation experimental-based projects of college students, and won 3 national second prizes and 8 third prizes in various competitions, including “Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction of National College Students” and “Science and Technology Competition of College Students in Chinese Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry”.
