机械基础实验教学中心成立于2000年6月，并于2009年获批为省级实验教学示范中心。中心坚持以基本能力训练为基础、以培养实践能力和创新精神为核心，明确实验教学任务，更新实验教学内容，改革实验教学方法和手段，强化实验教学考核，提高实验教学质量，使中心成为具有先进的实验教学内容、优化的实验课程体系、较高水平的实验设备、较完善的能适应开放式的实验教学方法的实践教学基地、大学生科技创新基地和科研与科技开发的基地。

The Mechanical Basis Experimental Teaching Center was established in June 2000 and was approved as a provincial experimental teaching demonstration center in 2009. The center insists on the foundation of basic ability training, and the core of cultivating practical ability and innovative spirit. By clarifying experimental teaching tasks, updating experimental teaching content, reforming experimental teaching methods and means, strengthening experimental teaching assessment, improving the quality of experimental teaching, the center is making itself as an improved practical teaching base which can adapt to open-style experimental teaching methods. With advanced experimental teaching contents, optimized experimental curriculum systems, high-level experimental equipment, the center becomes a scientific and technological innovation base for college students, as well as a base for scientific research and technological development.

中心现有面积2285m²，设有机械原理实验室、机械设计实验室、机械创新实验室、力学实验室、金相实验室、公差实验室、机械制造技术基础实验室。每学年为19门课程开设37个实验项目，承担本校理工科15个专业1380余名学生的实验教学任务，年教学人时数23500（不包括机房工作量）。

The center covers an area of 2285 square meters, involving a mechanical principle laboratory, a mechanical design laboratory, a mechanical innovation laboratory, a mechanics laboratory, a metallographic laboratory, a tolerance laboratory, and a basic laboratory of mechanical manufacturing technology. During each academic year, the center provides 37 experimental projects for 19 courses, undertakes the experimental teaching tasks of more than 1380 students in 15 majors of science and engineering in our school, and has an annual teaching man-hour of 23,500 (excluding computer room workload).

中心现有教学仪器设备584台件，总值992万元。其中10万元以上的大型精密贵重仪器设备19台，设备总值715万元。除了普通教学仪器设备之外，还有数控铣床综合实验台、微机显示万能试验机、伺服节能注塑成型机、通用板材成型试验机、电子万能材料试验机、模块电液综合实验台、便携式三坐标测量臂、3D打印机、扫描电镜、摩擦磨损试验机、扫描形貌测量显微镜、数码显微系统等先进设备。中心还建有两个机房，共有计算机近200台，安装较为齐全的CAD/CAE软件。

Currently, there are 584 teaching equipment in the center, with a total value of 9.92 million yuan. Among them, there are 19 large-scale precise and valuable instruments with the unit price of more than 100,000 yuan and a total value of 7.15 million yuan. In addition to ordinary teaching instruments and equipment, there are also advanced equipment such as CNC milling machine, microcomputer display universal testing machine, Energy Saving Servo System for Injection Molding Machine, Universal Sheet Metal Testing Machine, Electronic Type Universal Testing Machines, modular electro-hydraulic experimental platform, portable three-coordinates measuring arm, 3D printer, scanning electron microscope (SEM), Friction and Wear Testing Machine, Profile-Measuring Laser Microscopes, and digital microscope system, etc. The center also has two computer rooms, with a total of nearly 200 computers installed with relatively complete CAD/CAE software.

中心拥有一支实力雄厚、具有丰富工程实践经验和富有创新精神的专职为主、专兼结合的师资队伍。主要教学指导人员中，有教授9名、副教授21名、高级工程师（实验师）3名、实验师5名；其中博士15名、硕士28名，形成了一支结构合理的教师队伍，为应用型创新人才的培养提供了可靠的保障。

The center has a team of full-time and part-time combination faculty with rich engineering experience and innovative spirits. Among the main staff, there are 9 professors, 21 associate professors, 3 senior engineers and 5 technicians. Among them, 15 people hold a PHD degree and 28 people are masters. With a well-structured faculty, the center provides a reliable guarantee for cultivating application-oriented innovative talents.
