Mechanical Engineering Discipline

本学科现有专任教师42人，其中教授19人，副教授16人，具有博士学位教师37人，具有海外留学或进修经历教师24人，拥有院士1人，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2人，教育部新世纪优秀人才1人，福建省百千万人才工程1人，福建省特支人才“双百计划”1人，福建省教学名师2人, 具有高级工程师等工程背景的双师型教师21人。本学科拥有“机械工程”一级学科硕士授予点，现有“机械设计制造及其自动化、机械电子工程、智能制造工程”3个本科专业。2017年12月集美大学机械工程学科获批成为福建省高等学校应用型学科立项建设；2020年，“机械设计制造及其自动化”专业、“机械电子工程”专业分别入选国家级“一流专业”和省级“一流专业”立项建设。本学科拥有福建省高校海洋平台保障系统关键技术工程研究中心（建设）、厦门市现代设计与制造工程技术研究中心等科研平台。近5 年来本学科共承担了国家自然科学基金、科技部和各类省市厅级项目及企业委托的项目近200多项，累计科研经费2300多万元；发表研究论文近300篇，其中SCI、EI、ISTP检索77篇，获得发明专利22件、实用新型专利22件；出版专著4部；获福建省科技进步奖二等奖2项、福建省专利奖三等奖1项，厦门市科技进步奖二等奖和三等奖各1项。

There are 42 full-time staff in thisdiscipline, including 19 professors, 16 associate professors, 37 teachers with doctoral degrees, 24 teachers with overseas study or advanced study experience, 1 academician, 2 experts enjoying the State Council special allowance expert, 1expertsupported by the program for New Century Excellent Talents in University, 1expert supported by the Project Sponsored by Fujian Provincial Training Foundation for“Bai-Qian-Wan Talents Engineering”, 1 expertsupported by the Project byFujian Province’s “Double Hundred Plan” for special support talents, 2provincial level teaching famous teachers, and 21instructor-engineer teacherswith senior engineer certificate. The Discipline organized into 1 master program in Mechanical Engineering and 3 undergraduate majors, including "Mechanical DesignManufacture and Automation, Mechatronic Engineering, and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering". On December 2017, theMechanical Engineering discipline of Jimei University was approved as an application-oriented discipline project construction of Fujian colleges and universities. In 2020, themajor of MechanicalDesignManufacture andAutomation and the major of Mechatronicwere selected as national "first-class majors" andprovincial-level "first-class majors" project construction respectively. This discipline has scientific research platforms such as the Key Technology Engineering Research Center of the Marine Platform Guarantee System of Fujian Universities (under construction), and the Xiamen Modern Design and Manufacturing Engineering Technology Research Center. In the past five years, the discipline undertook more than 200 projects entrusted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Science and Technology, various provinces and municipalities, and enterprises, with a total scientific research funding of more than 23 million yuan.Nearly 300 research paperswere published, including 77 articlesretrieved bySCI, EI andISTP.A total of22Chinainvention patents,and22 utility model patents were authorized. And4 monographs were published.Moreover, the discipline won 2second prize of Fujian Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 third prize of Fujian Patent Award, 1 second prize of Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Award, and1third prize of Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Award.

方向一 机械设计及理论

主要研究领域为机构学、机械系统动力学，在凸轮连杆机构理论分析、高性能机械传动与系统、多轴转向杆系和悬挂系统优化设计以及海洋波浪能转换机构设计等方面具有特色。团队有教授6人、副教授3人，博士8人，硕士生导师8人。近五年来，主持国家自然科学基金项目3项、省市级科研项目和横向项目10余项，科研经费293万元；发表论文72篇，其中SCI、EI、ISTP检索30余篇；授权专利17件。

Direction 1: Mechanical Design and Theory

The main research fields include mechanism, mechanical system dynamics.The studies focus on the theoretical analysis of cam-link mechanism, high-performance mechanical transmission and system, multi-axis steering linkage and suspension system optimization design, and ocean wave energy conversion mechanism design. Theresearchteamhas 6 professors, 3 associate professors, 8 doctors, and 8 master tutors. In the past five years,the teamundertook 3 National Natural Science Foundation, more than 10 provincial,municipal andenterprises scientific research projects, with research funding of 2.93 million yuan. 72 research paperswere published, includingover 30articlesretrieved bySCI, EI andISTP.A total of 17 Chinapatents were authorized.

方向二 机械制造及其自动化

主要研究领域为精密复合加工与抗疲劳制造、精密成型工艺与模具等，在表面微细结构复合加工技术与装备、磨削淬硬加工技术、塑件精密模具、卫浴产品精密成型工艺等方面具有特色。团队有教授4人、副教授3人，博士8人，硕士生导师10人；近五年来，主持国家自然科学基金项目1项、省市级科研项目和横向项目40余项，科研经费721万元；发表论文76篇，其中SCI、EI、ISTP检索31篇；授权专利41件；获福建省科技进步奖二等奖2项，厦门市科技进步奖二等奖、三等奖各1项。

Direction 2 Machinery Manufacturing and Automation

The main research areas include precision composite processing and anti-fatigue manufacturing, precision molding technology and molds, etc.Theresearch focus on surface microstructure composite processing technology and equipment, grinding and hardening processing technology, plastic parts precision molds, and sanitary products precision molding technology. The team includes 4 professors, 3 associate professors, 8 doctors, and 10 master tutors. 主要研究领域为太阳能高效利用装备、流体机械和机器人智能控制技术。在太阳能光电-光热系统控制技术、流体电雾化技术、海洋高端装备智能控制技术等方面具有特色。团队有教授3人、副教授5人，博士9人，硕士生导师8人；近五年来，主持国家自然科学基金项目2项、省市级和横向项目20余项，科研经费256万元；发表论文71篇，其中SCI、EI、ISTP检索38篇；授权专利7件。

The main research fields include solar energy efficient utilization equipment, fluid machinery and robot intelligent control technology. The studies focus on solar photovoltaic-photothermal system control technology, fluid electric atomization technology, and intelligent control technology for marine high-end equipment. The team includes 3 professors, 5 associate professors, 9 doctors, and 8 master tutors. In the past five years,the teamundertook2 National Natural Science Foundation, more than20 provincial,municipal andenterprises scientific research projects, with research funding of2.56million yuan. 71 research paperswere published, including38articlesretrieved bySCI, EI andISTP.A total of 7 Chinapatents were authorized.

方向四 海水淡化技术及装备

主要研究领域为海水淡化技术、海水淡化装备、海洋能综合利用以及海洋可再生能源装备等，在波浪能、太阳能、海水淡化系统研究等方面具有特色。团队有教授6人、副教授5人，博士12人，硕士生导师11人；近五年来，主持国家自然科学基金项目6项、省市级和横向项目20项，科研经费488万元；发表论文57篇，其中SCI、EI、ISTP检索28篇；授权专利11件；出版专著4部。

The main researchfields include seawater desalination technology, seawater desalination equipment, comprehensive utilization of marine energy and marine renewable energy equipment, etc. Theresearch focus on wave energy, solar energy, and seawater desalination system research. The team has 6 professors, 5 associate professors, 12 doctors, and 11 master tutors.
